Student survey on academic integrity
The online student survey on academic integrity, delivered as part of the ALTC Priority Project on Academic Integrity standards: Aligning policy and practice in Australian universities. More than 15,000 students across the six project universities submitted their responses to the survey. The survey results show that around 60% of respondents had heard about someone who committed a breach of academic integrity, while around 10% of respondents knew someone who had received a penalty for, or a letter about, an academic integrity breach. The majority of students (92.1%) indicated that they thought that academic integrity had relevance to their life or work experience outside university. The survey results will contribute to the project
Each of the six project team's universities randomly selected a student from the survey database to be awarded an iPad2 for their participation in the survey. More details about the student winners can be found here.
